A Bit About Me

In my early days as an entrepreneur,

Back in 2018, residing in a city like Hyderabad, I encountered the challenge of shopping locally due to uncertainty about where to find trustworthy sources. I was hesitant about online marketplaces with unknown origins of products, so I often resorted to shopping from local stores. My research revealed a lack of means to connect with these local stores for efficient purchases. Recognizing this gap, I seized the opportunity to bridge local businesses and consumers, gaining significant attention during our beta phase within a 5km radius in Hyderabad. We onboarded a handful of sellers and introduced a 60-minute delivery service in 2019, exclusively within the same radius.

Regrettably, our technological capabilities fell short of our needs. This led us to a phase where we prioritized supporting local sellers, even without our advanced technology. Despite budget constraints, we leveraged WhatsApp to provide delivery support, serving over 600 businesses daily across the twin cities. This approach led to an average of 75 deliveries per day for six months. Gradually, with dedication, my co-founder and I managed operations, and by 2020 we could handle an average of 320 orders daily with a team of 27+ delivery champions across both cities.
